Designers:
SQC Group
SQC Group takes pride in designing for people, fostering inclusivity, and connecting people to places. We are passionate about social infrastructure projects, advocate in industry roundtables with the ACT Government, and champion women in construction. Our pro bono work with the Dr. Steve Burroughs Foundation enhances living conditions for First Nations People in remote areas. Over 29 years, we've donated $500k+ to charities, mentored, guest lectured, and provided numerous work experience opportunities. Diversity and inclusivity are core values, ensuring equitable professional growth that enhances well-being. A unique practice in Canberra, we offer Architecture, Interiors, Heritage, Passivhaus, and Access services.

Project: Deloitte Canberra
SQC Group's vision for Deloitte's 6,100m² office is as an epicentre of energy, positioning it as a hub for people, clients, and the community. Centred around the atrium, the design radiates outward, symbolising Deloitte's outwards focus. Leveraging the airport adjacency and views of the Brindabella Ranges, the design fosters collaboration and belonging through curated working zones and a dynamic social hub. Prioritising wellness, we integrated retreats with optimal light alongside parental, first-aid, and multi-faith spaces. Supporting hybrid work, the design features advanced technologies, barrier-free access, neuro-inclusive environments, and all-gender facilities, targeting Green Star-Interiors and WELL Gold certification.
