When it came time to update the kitchen and furnishings in this gem of house on a slope in Sydney's Mosman we listened closely to what the architecture wanted to say. “Leave me to breathe” she said. Alas a soft linden-blossom green kitchen was installed and a careful selection of furniture that easily adapts the dining room from an intimate setting for 2 to a full house of 20 was chosen. Strong Scandinavian classics and soft Josef Frank textiles creates a balanced space that gently dialogues with the building so artfully designed by Louise Nettleton decades ago.
