Hammond Studio was founded by Todd Hammond in 2017, after holding senior roles at BVN Architecture and Woods Bagot, having previously worked on widely-recognised and awarded Australian and International projects.
Hammond Studio has developed a reputation as a design-focused practice with a distinct approach to built form, that is highly considered, engaging and lasting. We are proud of the respected position our team have forged within the industry over the past 25 years.
Our purpose is to focus on the relationship between architecture, interiors, products and graphics. Inspired by subtle transitions between these disciplines and combined with a spatial design attitude, we are constantly striving for the exciting essence and opportunity within each project. We are industry leaders in designing with circularity by incorporating sustainable design initiatives, while achieving the requirements of our brief.
Project: Global Lifestyle Workplace
Masterful handling of complex architectural propositions comes to the fore in the design of this Sydney headquarters, delivered for a global lifestyle brand. Most notable in this project are the internal architectural forms that characterise the exclusive members lounge, sited on the upper most floors of the Poly Centre.
The building’s subtle curves extend all the way up onto the roofline where we delivered a sophisticated solution, unconventional in concept and flawless in its quality of execution. This complex, Art Nouveau-style modern structure with its crown-like geometries sits effortlessly within the building’s envelope.
