Project: ICONS - Australian Design

Commissioned as the feature exhibition for the inaugural Perth Design Week ICONS Australian Design would be located in the iconic Council House Building in Perth. The goal was to use the light filled gallery space and present iconic Australian designed objects to the Perth community for the first time. New acquisitions relating to industrial design in Western Australia were acquired and a feature Expo67 display case was commissioned to be manufactured in Perth. The final object (Kriesler Mini) to complete the set of Australian Design objects selected by Robin Boyd for Expo67 was acquired late in 2022 and presented the opportunity to exhibit the set for the first time ever on Australian soil.
