About the Project

The development of ‘Yuntulun Ku:li-war' was lead through a co-design process which was imperative to achieving an immersive storytelling exhibition. This consisted of workshops and consultation with stakeholders to capture compelling stories, artifacts and illustrations to showcase culture, indigenous and colonial history, and environment.

Our key consideration was to tell these stories in a contemporary and engaging way, while being considerate of the rich history and sensitive topics. The design made utilised a large open space, creating density and allowing for multiple opportunities to engage and reflect.

Centred around Goolwa and the surrounding regions, this exhibition is an opportunity to tell the complex stories important to its development and history.
