We are a First Nations-led collective of artists, designers, and curators who collaborate with Country+Community* to tell story and create meaningful public art and inclusive spaces for all cultures.

Based in Sydney, our partnership with AG Public Art brings together over 40 years of experience in projects from concept to completion. We create works in any material and at any scale for clients in the commercial, government, and industrial sectors.

Project: Signal Fire

Inspired by Aboriginal fire knowledge, ‘Signal Fire’ on Freshwater headland is an architectural place-maker that marks the beginning of the Northern Beaches Coast Walk. Providing space for reflection and unity through shared storytelling, honouring our past while embracing the future.

Created through mili mili’s Country+Community design process, the work was developed through deep listening, yarning, walking Country, and co-creation workshops with local Knowledge Holders and Community. These practices were embedded throughout the project, shaping its outcomes and fostering a deep connection to place, ensuring all that visit experience the story and feel a deeper connection to both Community and Country.
