Marylou Sobel Interior Design
At Marylou Sobel Interior Design we offer a bespoke design service where our clients are the most integral part of the journey. Embedded in our ethos is a timeless aesthetic, with an emphasis on comfort, attention to detail, craftsmanship, luxury and soul - a curated aesthetic that evokes an emotional response. We approach each project with a unique perspective, listening and considering the context of the brief and taking the time to understand our clients. Beginning with initial discussions and concept development, we form strong relationships, allowing our clients to trust the process and enjoy seeing their space come to life.
Project: Bundarra Penthouse
Our design process begins with establishing a clear brief from the clients, ensuring we understand their needs and preferences. We then collaborate as a team to develop a design response, considering how the clients use their spaces, their favourite design styles, and preferred colour schemes. Often, couples have differing tastes, as was the case in this project: the wife favoured vibrant colours and an arty aesthetic, while the husband preferred contemporary interiors with clean lines. We frequently draw inspiration from various sources, such as site-specific artworks or favourite pieces, to set the tone for each room within the project
