Emma Elizabeth often says, “design is nothing without style, and style is nothing without design.” A highly innovative designer, stylist and creative director, Emma is a graduate of ‘Scenografia’ from Istituto Europeo di Design in Milano, Italy, a fusion course between interior design, industrial design and set design. She set up her practises in Australia, Emma Elizabeth Designs and Local Design.
Emma’s cross-disciplinary design approach allows her to work within art direction, product design, styling, experiential, curation, production, and buying. Past commercial clients include Westfield, Debenhams, Amex, Dom Perignon, Moet and Chandon, David Jones, Lane Crawford, and others.
She has exhibited her product ranges in Milan, New York, London, and Sydney and has been featured in publications including Vogue UK, Elle Decoration UK, Vogue Living, Elle Décor, Frame, and Yatzer. Emma was selected as one of the 50 influential faces of Australian Now, celebrating Vogue Living’s 50th Anniversary, and is a continuing contributor to BELLE Magazine’s Design News. Emma was selected as one of the top ten designers during TENT LONDON by ELLE Decoration UK. She is known for her piece, ‘Round Diamond’ in collaboration with Designer Rugs, and ‘Materiality’ launched during Milan Design Week 2019. For her practise, Local Design, she presented Local Milan No.4. She is the creator of ‘The Design Vlog’, syndicating her footage in Japan and online blogs like Yatzer.
