Laura is a design innovator, strategist and leader for positive change in complex systems. Her PhD research on human interactions in space and place lead to the development of novel theories on place and toponymic attachment for multicultural communities. Laura has 15 years experience in developing and delivering leading-edge service and experience design programs for clients across Australia and the globe. She has established her own consulting companies, founded a digital start-up, and established successful design studio practices in Melbourne for both ThinkPlace and TGD. With a passion for exploring the nexus between service design and business innovation methods, Laura has implemented cross-disciplinary innovation design labs in the energy, circular economy and research-science domains.
